Muscular Skeletal Pain

At SOULMEI WELLNESS, we provide personalized acupuncture care for musculoskeletal pain, including neck pain, shoulder tension, back pain, sports injuries, joint discomfort, and muscle tightness. Our treatments may incorporate traditional acupuncture, trigger point therapy, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, and electrical stimulation to support pain relief, mobility, circulation, and the body’s natural healing process.

Carolyn Kweon is a New York State licensed acupuncturist with training in Chinese herbal medicine. She earned her Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science.

Carolyn discovered acupuncture through her own recovery from sports injuries. As an athlete, she understands the challenges of healing, rebuilding strength, and returning to daily life and activity. Her approach supports both the body and mind through personalized, patient-centered care.

Her areas of focus include orthopedic conditions, pain-related concerns, pre- and post-operative support, stress, anxiety, women’s health, and healthy aging. She may incorporate trigger point therapy, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, and electrical stimulation when appropriate.

Carolyn is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at Five Branches University, further deepening her commitment to integrative health care.
